REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Everest Production is accepting submissions for television programming proposals.

WHO ARE WE?

Well, if you’re wondering who we are, and haven’t had a chance to review our website, here’s an overview.

We’re a young, “getter done” kind of company. Don’t let the “young” description scare you. We’ve been producing programming since 2006. In 3 short years, we’ve produced over 1000 hours of programming, including 15 original series, and 2 daily news broadcasts. We’ve also received numerous Telly and Ava awards. In addition, we’re a full-service production company housed in a 70,000  square foot television facility, editing suites, audio suites, and rental equipment. We do all of this from our facilities in Central New Jersey (about an hour from Manhattan and 90 minutes from Philadelphia). The mission for Everest Production is to continually inspire viewers of all ages. We strive to foster programming that is family friendly, diverse and celebrates a multicultural environment. Everest Production is financed in part by Samanyolu Broadcasting Corporation (SBC), an international media company based in Istanbul, with programming that reaches viewers in over 80 countries.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Every show idea may not be a good match for Everest Production. However, we’re always looking to go beyond what we’ve done in the past. We’ve produced shows that air on the network Ebru TV. Now, we are looking for proposal submissions for ideas that we will take to other networks. Also, at various times throughout the year, we seek out specific types of programming.

Here’s a sampling of what we’re currently looking for:

Non-Fiction programming:

  • Lifestyle Shows (how-to)
  • Personality-driven reality shows
  • Factual-based
  • Travel
  • History
  • Human-interest shows
  • Studio based game shows
  • Reality-based game shows
  • Fashion / Beauty
  • Culture & Religion (religious programming must cover a range of religions)
  • Documentaries

We are NOT considering the following at this time:

  • dramatic series
  • situation comedies
  • animation
  • sports

WHAT IS THE PROPOSAL PROCESS?

We review every submission that has followed our Submission Guidelines. Our response time is approximately 4 – 6 weeks. We respectfully ask that you do not call or email regarding your proposal status until after that time. If your submission requires additional information, you will be contacted. You will also be notified by email or postal mail, if we decline your proposal.

WHAT ARE THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES?

We at Everest Production think there are many exciting, engaging shows out there just waiting to make it on the air! We also believe that you may have a well thought-out idea and are looking to take it to the next level. We’re delighted that you thought of us as you pursue your goal. So let’s see if we’re suited for each other. Submitting your proposal to Everest Production is a process, and we need you to take each step so that we’re able to review your work.

Because we receive many submissions that are similar to other ideas already under consideration, it is our policy to decline to consider any material unless the person submitting it has completed and signed our Agreement included in our Web_Submission and an attached version for postal submission.

All materials initially submitted must arrive through the mail or our web_submission. At this time, we do not accept email submissions.
